My name is Matthew Pezzone I’m a 40 year old father of 4 great kids, who was living a “normal” life as a husband, father and licensed pharmacist. In the summer of last year I started to have some symptoms of anxiety, tremor and dizziness. After seeing many doctors and trying many treatments for which was thought to be either anxiety or maybe even Parkinson’s disease, I finally found the right Neurologist at Allegheny Health Network who told me that I had a long term disease called Orthostatic Tremor or OT. Now, I have been a health care professional for 17 plus years and have never heard of OT. It is very rare and very hard to treat. My goal is to get the word out about OT as much as possible, just by describing my everyday life. I am not a professional writer, but I’m just a man who had his whole life turned upside down in a 15 to 20 minute diagnosis. So, hopefully this blog will shed some light on this disease and hopefully, by the grace of God give me an outlet for my feelings and experiences. God bless and have a wonderful day!
